Established a field management research laboratory by installing most of the lab equipments such as spectrophotometer, Kjeldhal digestion and distillation set, Flame photometer, hot air ovens, water stills, power  tiller etc worth Rs. 40 lakhs in Dept of Agronomy.

Conducted two external funded projects  (KSSTEC  & DST)

Conducted a National Workshop on “ Climate and Development” funded by Kerala  State Planning  Board.

Conducting two projects on “Organic farming” funded by Kerala State Planning Board.

Published 20 research papers and participated in 10 National seminars. Published 30 popular articles.

Serves as Head of the Department of Agricultural Meteorology and as Nodal Officer of the Gramin Krishi Mausam Seva (GKMS) project funded by IMD.

Guided three Ph.D and eight MSc. students. Currently guiding one MSc. Student in Agronomy.

Fields of specialisation are cropping system, crop –weather studies and organic farming.
