- Graduate students and faculty from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada visited COF on 3rd June 2017 as was done during last year. An interactive session was arranged with the students and faculty at COF on 3rd June 2017 at 9.30 am in the Seminar Hall. Dr. Suzie Lavelle, Professor and leader of the team delivered a brief talk on the 'High education prospects of Forestry graduates at UBC".

Smt. Saraswathi Sathasivam, wife of Hon’ble Governor of Kerala visited the Museum of College of Forestry, KAU on 5th August 2016. She was accompanying with Justice P. Sathasivam, Hon. Chancellor for the Vice Chancellors’ conference held at the Kerala Agricultural University, Vellanikkara. Vice Chancellors of 13 universities in the State participated in the conference. Dr. K. Vidyasagaran, Dean, COF welcomed her at the college. Faculty of the college accompanied her to the museum and explained about various achievements of the college.

College of Forestry in collaboration with Bird Count India hosted the National Conference on Bird Monitoring through Citizen Science on 11th and 12th June 2016. The conference was intended to familiarize the importance of e-birding and the status of e-birding in different states of the nation. It also discussed about the ethics to be followed in e-birding throughout India.
