College of Agriculture, Padannakkad, in association with the Central Training Institute, Mannuthy, organized a three-day hands-on training program on “Internet of Things (IoT) in Agriculture” for college students. Eighteen students actively participated in the training.
The sessions provided insights into the fundamentals of IoT and its applications in agriculture with hands-on experience, handled by Mrs. I. L. Shahana and Mr. R. S. Sreejith, Assistant Professors of Computer Science at College of Agriculture, Padannakkad.
On the concluding day, participants showcased the IoT-based models they had developed as part of the training. Dr. T. Sajitha Rani, Dean of the College, and Mr. R. L. Anoop, Assistant Professor, Department of Agricultural Extension distributed certificates to all participants.
