Sukumaran A, Dr.

Dr. A. Sukumaran, Associate Dean started his career as Lecturer in Commerce in Zamorians Guruvayurappan College, Calicut in the year 1981. Later in 1982 he joined in the Collegiate Education Department of Government of Kerala and worked as Lecturer in Commerce from 1982 to October, 1986 in various Government College of Kerala. On 22^nd October, 1986 he joined KAU Service as Assistant Professor (Management) in the Department of Rural Marketing Management. From 1999 to 2011 he was heading the Department of Rural Marketing Management. Dr. A. Sukumaran is also instrumental for the introduction and design of the prestigious MBA (ABM) programme of the University and also served as the Founder Director of the programme. From 2011 onwards he is holding the post of the Associate Dean of the College. He had already produced 3 – Ph.D in the area of Management and presently guiding 8 – Ph.D students. He is the life member of All India Agri-Business Management Association. He is also nominated as Executive Committee Member of Thrissur Management Association and Professional Trainers Form of Thrissur. Dr. A. Sukumaran is also the Approved Guide of Ph.D in the area of Management Sciences of Bharathiyar University, Tamil Nadu. He is a consultant Practitioner in Executive Stress Management, HRD Trainer and Neuro Linguistic Programmer.

Last year Global Economic Progress and Research Association (GEPRA), honors Dr. A. Sukumaran with “Dr. S. Radhakrishnan Gold Medal Award” for his contribution for promoting Agribusiness Education and Training in Kerala on the occasion of the late President of India, Hon’ble Dr. S. Radhakrishnan’s 125^th Birth Anniversary conducted as ‘National Unity Conference’ at Chennai on 19^th October 2013.
