The Department of Supportive and Allied courses (SAC) was constituted in College of Forestry vide Or. No.Acad. B2/2015/101/7702 dt.22.11.2017 of KAU. It was inaugurated on 26th June 2018 by Dr. K. Vidyasagaran, Dean, Faculty of Forestry. The mandate of the SAC department is to offer selected UG courses and also to support the general teaching, research and extension activities of the college. The department offers various undergraduate courses in the disciplines of Agril. Engineering, Agril. Biotechnology, Soil Science & Agril.Chemistry, Agril. Statistics and Agril.Economics for the B.Sc (Hons.) Forestry programme.
